Abstract :
The wireless-LAN-based distributed digital lighting system has been implemented for digital home. Effectiveness and reality of such a system that is composed of hardware system, software system and wireless LAN has been demonstrated in this paper. Although the digital lighting is distributed in the digital home, latency-free color-changing have become possible through Internet due to the server-client´s flexible architecture. The efficiency of system is improved by applying Field Programming Gate Array (FPGA) is studied. How integrate the Software system, hardware system and Bluetooth to work effectively is also discussed. A wireless LAN based application through Internet for digital lighting is also realized and demonstrated.
