Abstract :
Two problems occur in using supplemental conditions. First, their use may degrade the efficiency of the solution process. Second and more important, it is very difficult in practice to determine the accuracy attained. It would be desirable to be able to test the accuracy attained with a few supplemental conditions, if necessary add supplemental conditions, and then calculate the scattered field, antenna parameters, etc. The author describes a method for doing this by decoupling the solution of the original (nonsupplemented) MoM (method of moments) problem and the use of the supplemental equations.<>
