Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to develop interfaces to enhance safety and security in emergency management for disasters. This paper starts by organizing the problems in emergency management from the viewpoint of communication and human computer coordination. Then, it reports three types of human support systems about each problem. Finally, the prospective interfaces for disaster management are discussed.
