Abstract
To get a high precision of TOA estimation for the location based services (LBS) in OFDM wireless network, beam-space MUSIC algorithm is used in multi-path channels. Meanwhile, in order to improve anti-noise performance, a modified algorithm based on Teager-Kaiser (TK) operator is proposed. Due to subchip resolution capability and sensitive to the change of data´s amplitude, TK operator processes the cross-correlation function firstly. Then the TOA is estimated by beam-space MUSIC algorithm. Stimulation results show that the noise mitigation of proposed algorithm has been improved. It could estimate the TOA accurately in lower SNR environment. The distinguish probability is more robust. The performance of high-resolution estimation has been improved.
