Abstract
High Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) is still a most important challenge in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. In this paper, we propose a Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) precoding based SLM technique for PAPR reduction in OFDM systems. This technique is based on precoding the constellation symbols with DCT precoder after the multiplication of phase rotation factor and before the Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) in SLM-OFDM System. Simulation results show that our proposed technique can reduce the PAPR to about 5.5dB for N=64 and V=16 at clipping probability of 10-3.
