Abstract :
To systematical control the quality of product design process, a quality control model of product design is presented on the basis of the key quality characteristics. According to the theory of three levels of the total product and Axiomatic Design principles, quality systematical control requirements of product design, such as meeting customer demands and adaptation to production capacity of enterprise, are analyzed. The concept of product key quality characteristics is put forward based on analyzing multidimensional framework of product quality characteristics, and then an evolution process model of product key quality characteristics is created, which includes identifying, decomposing and mapping activities. A design quality control process model based on the evolution model is presented, it provides objects and measures in the form of quality plan for product design quality control via console. Finally, an application example is analyzed to show the feasibility of this proposed model.
