Abstract
The method of moments is used to compute the impedance and the complex propagation constant of a twisted-pair transmission line. A 10-meter length of Montrose Level 5 twisted-pair transmission line was modeled by the distributed-parameter and moment-method model codes in the frequency range of 10-100 MHz. The moment-method and distributed-parameter modeled attenuation curves are in close agreement, and they agree closely with the measured attenuation curve.<>
