Abstract :
A method of moments (MM) solution for rotationally symmetric reflectors in the near field of a circular aperture is described. It is an extension of the Mautz and Harrington body of revolution code that has been modified to handle phase-scanned planar circular apertures. All three spherical electric field components (E/sub r/, E/sub theta/, E/sub /spl phi//) are considered in calculating the MM excitation vector. Thus, the reflector can be located in the near field of the feed. Calculated results are presented.<>
