  • Abstract
    Dead reckoning of car is widely used I positioning with vehicle speed sensor and gyroscope when the GPS signal is obstructed. Design and realization of dada acquiring system for vehicle speed sensor is introduced. The system is based on single chip processor ATMEGA8. Its hardware principle circuit and the software flow diagram were given. The different frequency pluses based on different speed was generated by vehicle speed sensor and send them into single chip processor to calculate and control. Signal from gyroscope was transmitted to ADC after once integrating. Then the voltage was sent to PC through serial bus. The measuring result proved validity and stability of the system.
