Abstract :
A network capacity analysis for multi-hop wireless networks enabling dynamic spectrum access (DSA) is presented. DSA techniques enable frequency reuse in both time and space without causing destructive interference to incumbents. This paper presents a methodology for finding a theoretical capacity upper-bound of DSA enabled networks based on both: incumbent´s frequency occupancy and topology information. This practical and easy to understand methodology is envisioned to help in the design of future DSA systems under simple ownership with non interference easement or the commons regime
