Abstract :
Vessels are getting to a tendency of more modernized and maximized now, so improving port traffic safety has become a hot pot in the maritime sector. To achieve the purpose of water safety warning, this paper theoretically explores the feasibility of the evaluation about ship navigation environmental complexity from the driver´s viewing angle, though the analysis of the course of driver information processing. Through the identical-different-contrary diagnosis to the ship navigation environmental complexity, this article determines the connection-number of the driver´s visual characteristics index and evaluation standard, then established the Set Pair Analysis (SPA). After verification, evaluation results and actual results are consistent. The evaluation result indicates that, the Set Pair Analysis model for navigation environmental complexity evaluation is reliable.
