Abstract :
In this paper, performance of orthogonal transforms with their wavelet transforms and Hybrid wavelet transforms are compared for image steganography. Here, wavelet transforms and Hybrid wavelet transforms are proposed to be used for Image steganography. A set of 10 Cover images for hiding 10 varied message images has been used for research. Results validates that, Hybrid wavelet transforms performs better not only in case of normal embedding but also in case of attacks on stego image such as cropping, brightness, darkness. There are various applications of Image Steganography such as covert communication, copyright protection, military and intelligence services, featured tagging, medical Imaging systems etc.
