Abstract
In order to use adaptive algorithms more flexible and faster the convergence rate in the process of High Power Amplifier (HPA) adaptive pre-distortion, and overcome the amplitude over-compressing, an efficient adaptive predistorter for HPA is designed, in which the amplitude-amplitude (AM-AM) and amplitude-phase (AM-PM) adaptive pre-distorter are using tandem structure; amplitude pre-distortion device adopts the indirect adaptive structure to train; phase pre-distortion device is got by directly identifying the AM-PM characteristics of the amplifier and on the contrary, AM-PM characteristics identification is phase pre-distortion device at the same time; The design is simple, highly efficient, stable and saving resources, In which, adaptive algorithms are applied more flexible and convergence rate is faster. The amplitude pre-distorter basing on sinusoid, can give attention to efficiency, maximal export power and linearity. Finally, 16-QAM signal as an example is used to carry out simulation testing, simulation results show the advantages of the technology.
