Abstract :
A good antenna with extensive radiation pattern and also high gain entirely ultra wide band frequency range is proposed. In this paper a concise step shape antenna along with micro-strip fed mono-pole along with improved radiation pattern is proposed. With the modification in the shape of ground and also the radiating element, we improve frequency band, gain and also the characteristics of high frequency´s radiation. In this concise design, value of reflection coefficient is below than -10 dB inside the frequency range of 2. 913 to 11. 293 GHz and also the radiation pattern is just like per required for ultra-wide band antenna. Simulated results confirm that concise antenna is suitable for ultra wide band application because of its compact size and performance.
