    Summary form only given. The target was to construct an information system addressed to target the clinical and research needs in hospitals. The system integrates imaging as well as text. Furthermore, more it allows processing of data which are important for clinical research as well as for hospital administration. The requirements for such a system in terms of hardware, software and networking will be presented.
