Abstract :
This paper presents an implementation of a continually on-line trained artificial neural network (COT-ANN) for an induction machine´s current loop control using a DSP based system. A reduction in the computation time compared to previous implementations makes the system a viable alternative to standard PI controlled current loops. Some simulations are presented and the results are later confirmed by experimental tests.
