Abstract :
In this paper, a fast blind carrier frequency estimation algorithm is used for estimating the modulated signal frequency and it requires no priori knowledge of the signal. The carrier frequency estimation is transformed to the phase estimation of an autocorrelation of the received signal. The algorithm is so simple that it can work speedy. Simulations show that the fast algorithm can work well for the carrier frequency estimation of PSK and QAM signals.
