Abstract :
In networked control systems, the inevitable network-induced delays and packet losses are two main factors which deteriorate the system stability and dynamic performance and even make the systems unstable. Considering a packet loss as a special kind of delay, we investigated the networked control systems with network-induced delays and packet losses. A dynamic feedback controller was introduced to stabilize the networked control systems and improve their dynamic performance. The expression of total network-induced delay including the sensor-to-controller delay and the controller-to- actuator delay was presented; the networked control system model was established; the stability theorem was proved. The simulation examples also demonstrated the validity of the proposed method.
