Abstract :
This paper presents numerical simulation strategies and numerical analyses to investigate fluid-structure interaction for super-long flexible beam at non-matching meshes. Super-long flexible beam in cylinder is divided into beam elements, using nonlinear dynamics equations of collision contact to describe. The pipe and annular fluids are divided into hexahedron elements, using computational fluid dynamics equations to describe. According to shape function of the beam element, interpolation formulas of interface force and interface displacement between the non-matching meshes are obtained to solve the fluid-structure interaction problem. Numerical simulation results show that coupled effect between super-long flexible beams in cylinder and fluids is obvious, and display a strong fluid-structure interaction phenomenon.
