Abstract :
Economic analysis is the core content of feasibility study and evaluation, and an important basis for decision-making. Its role is to minimize the risk and improve returns on investment. Traffic impact analysis (TIA) is the way that analyses the project impact on the urban traffic, according to the inner link between urban development project and traffic demand growth, and then advances countermeasures of keeping the level of service (LOS), and implements the compensation policy to reduce traffic load impact of the development. Based on the theory of TIA, this paper analyses and evaluates the impact of urban newly-built projects on its surrounding network, and uses this technology to supplement the traditional methods of economic evaluation of project items.
