Abstract :
The Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol-based networked control systems (NCSs) are drawing more and more attention in recent years, however, it is difficult to apply TCP/IP protocol into NCSs for the lack of real-time characteristic. Based on the characteristic of data stream in NCSs, this paper studies the characteristic and shortcomings of TCP transferring, the reliable transferring of short data is realized by using an UDP-based transferring protocol, and the real-time characteristic of transferring is also guaranteed. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the methods proposed in this paper.
