Abstract
Configuration platforms based on function blocks and links such as function block diagram (FBD) are used widely in designing and implementing distributed intelligent control network (DICN). Traditionally, FBD and ladder diagram (LD) are two completely different programming languages with different data models and compilation algorithms to generate different data and instructions for field intelligent nodes. Essential difference exists between implementation methods of control strategies with the two programming languages for data exchange within and between different nodes, which make it difficult for unification of programming languages in configuration platform, hybrid programming and improvement of control systemspsila openness and compliancy. A kind of generalized FBD model for distributed intelligent control network is proposed. Scheme for implementing the model in field intelligent node is presented in detail. Transformation models for language elements in LD are presented based on the proposed model. The proposed model is flexible and widely applicable. Application of the proposed model in design and development of configuration platform software for distributed intelligent system show the effectiveness of the model.
