  • Abstract
A numerical technique for solving the H-plane waveguide junction problem is presented. The junction can be of arbitrary shape and have an arbitrary post inside. The analysis technique is a finite element technique combined with a moment method. The Green´s function of the waveguide which is used for the moment method is expressed in the form of the hybrid ray mode which is known to be efficient for the waveguide propagating multimodes. In order to verify the code, the aperture susceptance of an inductive waveguide junction is computed.<>
