Abstract :
In this paper, a new target detection method is proposed by implying the elastic wave propagation equations. Firstly, the generalization of Hook´s law is utilized to establish the elastic wave propagation equations. Then, a fast second-order semi-discrete finite difference scheme is presented to solve the elastic wave propagation equations. The method here can detect different objects from a noisy image, with various shapes and with an interior contour. Detection of different objects from a color image can be derived straightforwardly. By comparing, the fast solver has high efficiency at the same time.
