  • Abstract
In this paper, the dual-excited and steam-valving controller is proposed for the dual-excited synchronous generator by using bounded passivity-based design method, which can make the closed-loop system asymptotically stable under the arbitrarily bounded control. So the compromise can be gotten between the control effect and the energy magnitude of control input. Firstly, the storage function is constructed according to the system model. Then, the passivity realization is completed for the model of synchronous generator by pre-feedback control. Finally, the bounded passivity-based controller is designed based on the passivity lemmas. In order to illustrate the effectiveness of the bounded passivity-based control, the simulations are performed to show that the closed-loop system can converge into the equilibrium states quickly.
