Abstract :
The concept of generation of fractals through iterated function systems is presented. The fractal shapes have a self-similarity property that is applied to design a multiband frequency selective surface (FSS). The design of an FSS based on the Sierpinski gasket is presented and both numerical and measured results are discussed
