Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel method of image segmentation based on cloud concept analysis. The histogram of image is transformed into modes expressed by cloud models, and an image pan concept tree representing different granularities is generated by concept ascending. Image segmentation is accomplished through choosing proper granularities and corresponding concept hierarchy. Experimental results and comparisons with other methods confirm the validity of the proposed method.
