Abstract
This paper proposes a new-type series resonant high-frequency AC linked DC-AC converter which simplifies the connection of a cycloconverter part using inverter configuration. Different aspects and the same aspects between the conventional and the proposed converter are compared. A simplified discrete time model is proposed for the simulation and analysis of the transient and steady state performance of the proposed converter. Simulation results are validated by experimental results
