Abstract :
This paper presents a coupled line band-pass filter cascaded with the rectangular microstrip patch antenna resonating at center frequency of 5.2 GHz. BPF of order four is designed with 10 % fractional bandwidth having 0.5 dB equal ripple response. Simple rectangular patch antenna is designed using FR4 substrate (εr=4.4, h=1.5 mm, t=0.150 mm) and produces the gain of 4.2182 dB. BPF gives s21 of -3.95 dB at f1(4.646 GHz) and -3.359 dB at f2(5.046 GHz). Cascaded integrated antenna gives gain 7.22 dB and this showed improved response.
