Abstract :
BT model is widely introduced into infrastructure project (IP) in China. The core issue in the operation process of BT project is that the government sector´s confirmation of the repurchase price (RP) and payment methods influences the interests of both sides. However, the theoretical studies and relevant legal system on the issues above are relatively insufficient. This paper defines the concepts of BT operation models and repurchase price in BT project, and analyzes the influencing factors, including the methods of investing funds, construction period, engineering change, benchmark interest rate and investment rate of return (IRR), RP payment methods, repurchase period etc. Through the analyzing of their mechanism and example calculation of the repurchase price, this paper comes out a well targeted contract control strategy on the basis of RP control purpose. The results may have a strong guiding significance in theoretical studies and practical operation of BT model´s application in China.
