Abstract :
This paper implements U-LES system that supports automotive emergency call service. U-LES system contains E-mobile device (emergency mobile device) that is feasible even to the handicapped, home-alone elders, or young children, and E-server (emergency server) that could monitor and manage such E-mobile device in real-time. In any emergent cases, E-mobile device automatically requests help through wired/wireless network from any emergency center or proper guardian. E-mobile device is light- weighted, cheap, and designed in such way that even the elders or children could easily use. E-server is a comprehensive system for E-mobile device management that contains inclusive signal management feature to support other heterogeneous types of networks such as CDMA, TRS, or USN. For superior emergency system and efficient E-mobile device, E-server also provides real-time monitoring feature.
