Abstract :
Summary form only given. Linear dispersion properties of surface polaritons in an asymmetric wave-guiding structure consisting of a semi-bounded double-negative (DNG) metamaterial separated from a semi-bounded epsilon-negative (ENG) metamaterial by a dielectric slab. The general dispersion equations for TM and TE surface polaritons in such structure is derived, and solved numerically in different cases, showing a rich variety of SPP supported by such structures.
