Abstract :
MATLAB is a high-performance language for technical computing. It integrates computation, visualization, and programming in an easy-to-use environment where problems and solutions are expressed in familiar mathematical notation. These capabilities give facilities for calculation of phase diagram. In the paper a solution to construct the common tangent lines between two curves with MATLAB has been presented. Its principles and flowchart have been illustrated. The solution has been implemented on calculation of Li-Mg phase diagram.
