Abstract
Flake-like particle of ZnO had been synthesized through pyrolitic reaction of hydrozincite as chemical bath deposition product. The decomposition of hydrozincite is studied by sample IR spectra of calcined samples at 200degC, 300degC and 500degC. The calcinations at 300degC transformed hydrozincite into ZnO and kept the flake-like structure. Morphologic study showed spherical particles at early deposition grew to form flake-like structure and diffraction pattern showed that sample consist of dominantly perpendicular plane.
