Abstract :
Image gathering and transmission system is the important part of banknote sorts and should have high properties of real-time and steady reliability. With the development and the popularization of Internet, more embedded system should support the function of Internet. The traditional TCP/IP protocol is too complex and takes too much resource. This paper designed a new banknote image gathering and transmission system. At the hardware aspect, it realized a banknote image gathering and transmission system with many expansion interfaces, based on the Texas Instrument Incorporated (TI)´s Davinci dual-core processor TMS320DM6446. At the software aspect, it developed network function application procedure based on the platform. The TCP/IP protocol was simplified.
