Abstract :
A 6th order, 900 MHz, 3.6 Gb/s continuous-time RF bandpass delta sigma modulation (DSM) receiver with integrated VCO is realized in a 180 nm SiGe BiCMOS technology. Measured figures of merit include a two-tone spurious free dynamic range of 55.7 dB in 1 MHz bandwidth, a 3 dB noise bandwidth of 75 MHz, and a noise figure of 10.3 dB, 10.8 dB, and 11.6 dB at -30degC, +27degC, and +80degC, respectively.
