Abstract
Summary form only given. Atmospheric-pressure cold plasma jets are very useful tools for the advanced materials processing due to their outstanding features, such as low gas temperature, high concentrations of chemically reactive species, flexible operation procedures, resulting from the vacuum-free configuration of the plasma generation system and the separation of the discharge region and the materials treatment region. Such characteristics have made them unique, promising and competitive in actual applications, such as the sterilization and disinfection1, gas cleaning, gas synthesis and surfaces treatments, etc2.
