Abstract :
In this paper, a servo system is designed using state feedback for the three types of inverters: Z-source inverter, Voltage-source inverter and the 4-leg inverter. These inverters are widely used in various power electronic applications and their proper control is required for the efficient operation of these systems. The integer-order transfer functions of these inverters are converted into the pseudo state-space fractional-order models the and pole placement is carried out. The design is carried out such that the oscillatory poles of these systems are placed in the higher Riemann sheets to ensure stability.
