Abstract
A series of tests were performed to investigate the potential for electromagnetic interference (EMI) from the operation of a high speed rail train set. The EMI effects on the railroad signaling system were studied. The potential for the train´s variable frequency traction motors to compromise the safety signaling system on the train was analyzed
