Abstract :
Circuit impedance of popular EMI ferrite beads is empirically modeled over a wide frequency range, using simple lumped circuit analysis. Previous models are cumbersome and difficult to apply. Comparison of this model with vendor published data for several popular EMI ferrite types shows a good agreement for both magnitude and phase
