Closed transition switching of essential loads

In recent years, there has been an increasing number of closed transition transfer switches applied in emergency and standby power systems. Such transferring without interruption has been primarily for computer and other essential loads that are vulnerable to momentary losses of power. It is suggested that recent developments and application requirements now make closed transition switching a viable approach for improved performance in transferring all types of essential loads
