Abstract :
A self adaptive Differential Evolution algorithm with Secondary population is proposed. In selection, unselected individuals are put into secondary population, individuals in main population and secondary population evolve simultaneously and selections happen among individuals from main population, secondary population and parental individuals. Parameters self adaptations happen according to comparisons among fitness of children and their parents. Experimental results of benchmark functions show high performance of our approach.
