Abstract :
A new control method for voltage type PWM AC to DC converters with reduced number of sensors is proposed. To reduce the waveform distortion and DC offset current of the supply current, state feedback control of the LC filter in the AC side is used. Analysis of the current control system, and stability analysis to determine optimum values of feedback gains are reported, The performance of the PWM rectifier with the proposed control strategy is confirmed by experiments, where the transient dynamic response was greatly improved
