Abstract :
The paper studies regionalization features for such seven major meteorological disasters as drought, flood, snow, frost, hailstone, strong wind and thunderstorm in Tibet through calculation and analysis of risk index and vulnerability index of disaster-bearing body according to meteorological disaster signal from 38 meteorologicalal stations in Tibet, social and economic data, meteorological disaster risk evaluation model, signal processing function of geographic information system, disaster-pregnant environment, disaster-causing factors, disaster-bearing body and effectiveness of prevention & control engineering.
