Abstract
A novel version of a corona triode which permits charging dielectric foils with a constant current was developed. The charging current is kept constant by controlling the bias grid voltage. A description is given of how the sample potential is measured. Results showing the uniformity of charge deposition and measurements performed with Teflon FEP and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) films are presented
