Abstract :
The effects of resonance scattering in the nonlinear layered structures illuminated by plane waves of two tones are studied. The waves of combinatorial frequency generated in the distributed three-wave mixing processes have been examined and their distinctive properties are discussed. It is shown that the constitutive and geometrical parameters of the anisotropic layer and surrounding media strongly influence the products of the resonance nonlinear scattering. A dramatic enhancement and total suppression of the combinatorial frequency waves has been demonstrated at the high order Wolf-Bragg resonances when satisfy the additional constraints interrelate the layer parameters, and the pump wave incidence angles and frequencies.
