Abstract :
A method for determining the space-charge distribution in thick samples of dielectrics is presented. The method is based on measurements of the effective surface charge density on one side of the plane parallel sample when the other side is simultaneously being dissolved in a conducting or dielectric solvent. A variant of the method was applied to wax electrets, and good agreement with published data was obtained
