Abstract :
This article deals with a comparison between several embedded battery charger structures, including two PWM rectifiers. The first one is a 2-level rectifier, whereas the second topology is 3-level NPC rectifier. And finally, the third studied structure is a unidirectional charger topology, which not allows network services. Of course, each battery charger will be presented, in order to study its performances, such as losses, the impact on passive elements design, and then the EMC generation.
