Abstract :
An electronic tongue system to automatically detect heavy metal in sea water Hg, Fe, Cr elements is develop. The detection units of electronic tongue are based on three light-addressable potentiometric sensors (three-LAPS). All-solid-state mercury ion-selective electrodes (Hg-ISE), Fe-ISE and Cr-ISE, are also respectively as targets of pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique and are prepared to three thin-film sensors on the surface of three LAPS sensitive to Hg, Fe, Cr elements. The electronic tongue system consists of electronic circuit and water circuit. The characteristics of collect sample in-site, real-time determination, communication and multifunction software are designed. Hardware design of the instrument mainly includes control and measurement aspects. The standard addition method is used to neglect background disturbance of different samples and improve the accuracy. The detect limits of Hg, Fe, Cr elements are 3.44times10-7 mol/L, 6.31 times 10-6 mol/L and 2.09 times 10-7 mol/L, respectively.
