Abstract :
Based upon the review of the trend, the problems and risks in cross-border acquisitions encountered by Chinese enterprises, the paper analyzes the importance of integration managers in the process of acquisitions and post-acquisition integrations. The paper points out that the appointment of integration manager is an effective way of avoiding risks and cultural conflicts during cross-border acquisitions by the Chinese enterprises and integration managers shall be closely involved into the entire process starting from due diligence and up to the completion of integration.
